David Lloyd Platinum Membership: Cost and Benefits
Last updated: September 2026
Platinum is David Lloyd’s most inclusive main membership option. It is built for people who want more than gym, pool and classes: racquets, Blaze, selected guest privileges, selected other-club access and luxury Spa Retreat access are part of the wider Platinum proposition.
What David Lloyd Platinum membership includes
Platinum includes unrestricted access to gym facilities, swimming pools and fitness classes. It also includes racquets and Blaze, a monthly guest pass at participating clubs, fresh towel service, a 10% discount in the bar and restaurant, a 10% discount on DL Kids courses, exclusive digital content, selected other-club access and selected luxury Spa Retreat access.
Some Platinum benefits are not offered at every club. In particular, monthly guest-pass and premium-facility availability can differ by site. Confirm the exact inclusions for the club you intend to use rather than relying on a generic benefits list.
How much does Platinum cost?
Individual Platinum membership commonly budgets around £130 to £250+ per month. Your exact figure reflects the club, contract length, local facilities and access arrangements. Higher-demand clubs can be above this planning range.
When Platinum is worth paying for
Platinum makes most sense when you will consistently use its extra facilities. Racquets players, Blaze users, members who visit more than one club, people who bring guests and those who use Spa Retreat areas gain the most value. If you mainly use the gym, pool and classes, Plus normally provides the better cost-to-use ratio.
Use a trial period to test the extras you expect to use. This is the simplest way to determine whether Platinum is a genuine upgrade or just an expensive list of benefits you will not use.
