David Lloyd Family Membership Prices
Last updated: September 2026
David Lloyd Family membership is created by adding children to an adult membership. Children are grouped as up to 2 years old and from 3 to 18 years old. Your family quote then reflects the club, the package, the adults included and the ages and number of children added.
How much is family membership?
Family membership does not have one fixed price because each household is different. As a broad planning guide, many family setups begin around £150 per month and can rise above £230+ at premium clubs, higher packages and larger household combinations. The only reliable figure is the one created for your exact family.
When requesting a quote, provide the number of adults, every child’s age, your preferred package and the club you want to join. This avoids receiving a headline figure that does not reflect your actual household.
What families should check first
- Which swimming and family areas are available at the chosen club?
- What hours apply to children and family swimming?
- Are children’s activities and DL Kids courses included, discounted or charged separately?
- Which package gives access to the facilities your family will actually use?
- How do costs change as a child moves into the next age band?
David Lloyd can be strong value for families who use pools, activities, Clubrooms and racquets often. It is less compelling when the adults only use the gym and children rarely attend. Build the quote around real family habits, not the widest possible package.
Best way to test a family club
Visit together before joining. Use a family day pass or a suitable trial where available, assess changing areas, pool experience, parking and the quality of facilities at the times your family would normally attend. Ask the club team for a full written family quote including joining fee, monthly cost, package details and contract.
